I have no idea what anyone would want me to put here.

Hi all!
I’m Miss Molly, and you can call me Miss Molly. I’m an aspiring author and happy to be here. I look forward to reading and being read.
-
Hello. I’m John. Please don’t make fun of me.
-
I’m 16, I live in Chicago, IL.
Uhhh I’m more of an artist than a writer, but sometimes I just, like, love writing.
Pot Belly’s appeals to me in a way that I can not explain.I used to go on here all the time, buut not so much anymore.

Pyro dubbed me sequel queen! http://ficly.com/stories/7381I am a member of the League of Awesomeness: the Mistress of Well-Intentioned Indecision.
I am Mistress Elshanor of the House of the Secret Passageway to Mount Krully and Keeper of the Ficlinomicon!I also blog! Follow me at www.wellintentionedindecision.blogspot.com There you can find me in all of my wishy-washy, indecisive, center-brained, uh, -ness.
Certified teacher, mother of two, center-brained, imaginative pragmatist. I find myself writing every spare moment I get. I began writing and telling stories as a child, but after a hiatus where I wrote secretly in notebooks when I had time for creative ideas, I decided to spread my wings and try to write for feedback.
Sitting at my computer, the sun sets through my window and I write blissfully unaware, typing out scenes dripping with description and wrought with emotion.

I’ve missed Ficlets so much!!! I’m so glad we’re all back together. I’m a senior in high school, and I’ve been through some rough times in life, but I’ve been writing poetry for as long as I can remember. Its my coping mechanism. I hope you enjoy my work. Comments and constructive criticism are always appreciated.

as of 06-24-10, I had a heart attack. Sometime soon, I will have a triple bypass. I hope to return to ficly as soon as possible after that, during my recovery phase.
I’m old. Real old. I’m so old I remember when dialing a phone number actually involved using a dial.
I’ve worked as a projectionist, an armored car driver, a help desk tech, a museum tech and laserist, an historical interperter at Old Sturbridge Village, a university assistant at a planetarium and observatory. I’ve been a salesman, a techie, A union VP and a storyteller. I remember the Gemini missions, but was born after sputnik. I have a love of History, Technology, Space, my religion (Christianity) and my country. I believe there is more that binds us together than can tear us apart.
I’ve loved many, married one, was involuntarily divorced.
Oh and I suppose I should tell you. I don’t understand your music and when it comes to sports, I don’t care if the Red Sox beat the 49’ers for the Stanley cup or not. Not judging, it’s just me.

Previously known as Howhardlifeis (on Ficlets) and A Tad Hopeless. I’m 17 and a half. Writing keeps me sane, kind of. I write what I feel and feel everything I write. I try to listen to and apply constructive criticism.
- I haven’t been able to write because I’m still getting accustomed to the college-life.*
Having you in my life was like having my favorite playlist on repeat forever.
Pat is awesome!

In ficly I’ve discovered a medium of writing that’s quick, expressive, and just restricted enough to be a wonderful challenge. I love it!
-
So I figure I should fill this box in, because otherwise my profile page promised to cry in despair.
The name’s Orange, OrangeOreos. I’m from a now-extinct organization known as Ficlets. I haven’t written much since the good ship Ficlets was sunk by AOL, but I’ll try to get back into the habit!
I guess I should also say that I’m a junior in the fun-house named high school. The school theater is my second home, and all my non-cyber home-skillets live in it, too.
Good writing, everyone!

This time, it’s mostly Jason’s fault. He’s the one who convinced me that we couldn’t just leave well enough alone. He got the designers to donate their time, and wrote all the HTML, CSS and 95% of the javascript. I did the models and controllers. Nope, we couldn’t just let it go. We had to try it again.
-
While working at AOL, I was a part of the team that built Ficlets along with Kevin, Cindy, Jenna, and Ari. When AOL decided to shut our baby down, I contacted Kevin and got the ball rolling on Ficly. I’m more a musician and photographer than an author, but I love storytelling and the art of writing.
We continue to have a ton of fun working on this site and building the community, so thank you all for participating and let us know how we can make it better!

Dr. Tim’s Neurotic Rules of Ficly Life
[Disclaimer: This is not intended to be binding nor in any way an expectation of general members of Ficly, league members, family members or wearers of Member’s Only jackets]
1. Comment to Story posting ratio must exceed 5:1. Goal is 10:1. In other words, I write a story then find five others (at least) upon which to comment before writing another.
2. For every solo shot or sequel of my own material, I must write a sequel or prequel to the work of another author. If I’m going easy on myself, participating in a challenge also fulfills this requirement.
3. If someone comments on one of my stories, I go find one of theirs upon which to comment. It only seems fair, and I like to think it encourages commenting.
4. Awesomeness is the goal, always. Call me on it when I fail, please.
5. Clearly mark mature content and err on the side of caution.
6. Golden Rule remains in effect for all sequels, prequels, and comments.

A former Ficleteer. Now, I am a Ficly acolyte – a Ficlyte, if you will. (You can thank uselessness for that term!)
Spread the word, brothers and sisters! :-D

Like my stuff? Hate my stuff? Thoughts, questions, any verbal communication? Leave me a comment, send me a note, let me know what you think! Although, if you’re in the “hate” catagory, you must have some kind of reason.

I am a girl of the teenaged sort, and a lover of theatre, music, and writing. The arts are my saving graces, I think. I was originally a member of Ficlets, and now I’m here. I’m also a proud member of the League of Awesomeness.

Is a student once again and lurking in the shadows, reading your ficlets in secret. ;^) Hopefully will be bitten by the writing bug again one day. OH! I see it has been at least 11 months since I last contributed— sadly, I will not be updating time line today.
Keep up the great work troops! Soldier on, warriors… Soldier on..

Hey Everyone, I’m Violet. I love reading and writing. I love sports even more. I play Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, and I swim. I don’t know how much I’m going to be able to write on here because I’m going to be extremly busy but I’m sure I’ll get some stories up.
-
I’m an amateur writer – I only write for fun and personal entertainment. I’ve never been published and don’t really have any aspirations to get that far. I just like making stuff up. :)
I’ve also found I tend to have a dark outlook in my writing. It seems my inner cynic is the one holding the pen.“Writing is like prostitution. First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and then for money.” — Molière

An Aussie infatuated, no, obsessed with spreading his artistic wings and creating whenever possible, is enjoying taking on the challenge of trying to hold a pen and write interesting stories…with wings.

Just another procrastinating writer from Scottsdale, Arizona, working on a couple of books & a few short stories. In my spare time, I work at Verizon as a consultant. I first read about ficlets through Scalzi and Wil Wheaton’s blogs. Cool that it’s back online & out of AOL’s deadly grasp.

= I HAVE A BOOK OUT! HOORAY! Message me for the details. =
I like writing, science, almost all forms of music (literally), creating constructed languages, graphic/visual arts, and a good book. I will not hesitate in saying I am a Christian and I am darned proud to be an American.
